With the holiday season just around the corner, Lyreco has launched its multimedia, multi-platform ‘Countdown to Christmas’ campaign. 

Featuring an array of digital resources designed to get people in the festive spirit, it delivers a seasonal combination of rich media, web and social media content to help Lyreco maintain the Refresh & Revive drumbeat over Christmas.

Creating a platform for festive fun

The Countdown to Christmas campaign centres on the Refresh & Revive Festive Hub, an extension of the existing Wellness Hub. This features a collection of practical and fun ways for Lyreco’s audience to focus on happiness and health, along with a few festive touches.

Following a special video message from the Lyreco team, visitors to the hub are encouraged to explore and enjoy the resources on offer. One particular highlight is the Christmas playlist featuring Lyreco’s favourite festive tracks – guaranteed to get people singing along. There’s even an interactive element, allowing people to put in their own requests (although the classics are already covered).

Giving Lyreco plenty to unwrap

The hub is supported by various downloadable assets, including a Kids Pack full of family-friendly activities and a series of signature cocktail recipes for the grown ups. There’s also a series of calming exercises led by Michael McCaffrey to help people overcome the more stressful moments that Christmas can bring.

Alongside the Festive Hub, Lyreco is using direct email to drive traffic to the hub itself and to stay in touch with its customers, colleagues and partners. Building on the Countdown to Christmas theme (as well as the wider Refresh & Revive campaign), this features an advent-style series of emails that each boast a selection of festive facts and wellness tips.

Sharing the Christmas spirit with Mind

As part of its Countdown to Christmas, Lyreco is also supporting the charity Mind – encouraging visitors to the Festive Hub to make a donation. A charity that provides vital support and services for people facing mental health problems, Mind is an ideal match for Refresh & Revive with its focus on workplace well-being during what has been a difficult year for everyone.

Overall, Lyreco’s Festive Hub is an effective way for the firm to keep engaging with its audience and spread some Christmas cheer. It adds to the ongoing Refresh & Revive campaign while maintaining a drumbeat up to the end of 2020, ready for the return of the Virtual Roadshow live events in 2021.
