Thirteen and half grand is a fairly significant number, even for the most ardent collector – but the dudes over at We Are The Music Makers are working on an alternative. Having negotiated with the artist, they’ve organised a kickstarter page where you can pledge $16 for a lossless digital rip of the album. It’s said that once the digital files have been delivered, the original vinyl will be auctioned on eBay. The proceeds will be split three ways between the artist, the kickstarter backers and an as-yet-unnamed charity.
