On Wednesday 10th January ditto launched our Capital Market Outlook channel by hosting a fascinating and timely panel event exploring new digital economies, and the potential of cryptocurrencies and ICOs to disrupt traditional business and funding models.
ditto’s Michael Wilson moderated the evening’s panel event, which included business observations from Tony Pearce (co-founder, Reality Clash) David Little (co-founder, Story) and Richard Skaife (CEO, YOVO), as well as a regulatory perspective from Sian Lewin (founder, The RegTech Doctor).
The panel explored the commercial drivers behind pursuing ICOs as fundraising vehicles; logistical considerations for putting this cryptocurrency investment to use; and tips for hosting a successful ICO in future – as well as what tomorrow might hold as regulators continue to get to grips with this route to alternative finance.
