2nd Oct 2019 City & Financial – SFTR Implementation Forum Panel Discussion
Mike Richardson, Head Account Manager for InsurTech client Legerity will take part in a panel discussion “Evolution rather than revolution: harnessing new technologies to optimise reporting”
The European Union’s Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR) is intended to enhance the transparency of the securities financing markets by requiring those who enter into Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs) to report the SFT to a trade repository.
The “Evolution rather than revolution” discussion is at 4.15pm Wednesday 2nd October during the SFTR Forum, hosted by City & Financial. It will uncover more about the following topics:
- Addressing the clients’ classification and communication issues arising from SFTR
- Industry testing, discrepancies observed in bookings, field challenges, lifecycle events and corporate actions
- Vendor flows and vendor platforms (trading venues, CCPs)
- Realising operational leverage with EMIR and MiFID II solutions
- Legacy systems, integration and cost
